Vice President Receives LEED Certification

Michael G. Boerding, P.E., Vice President of Engineering, has received LEED-AP certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
LEED professional accreditation distiguishes building professionals with the knowledge and skills to successfully steward the LEED Certification process. LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED-APs) have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles and the LEED Green Building Rating System. The LEED-AP program is administered by the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI), which was established with the support of USGBC to allow for objective, balanced management of the credentialing program.
Sterling Welcomes Mr. Michael Blansit, P.L.S.

The Sterling Company welcomes the addition of Mr. Michael Blansit, P.L.S., and his 33 years of experience, to our staff of professionals.
Mr. Blansit is a Professional Land Surveyor registered in Missouri and Illinois as well as a Land Surveyor in Training in Colorado. He is a member of the Illinois Professional Land Surveyors Association and the Missouri Society of Professional Surveyors, serving as President of the St. Louis Chapter in 2000.
Mr. Blansit has provided surveying services for the Illinois and Colorado Departments of Transportation, St. Louis County Department of Highways and Traffic, Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, Bi-State Development, and numerous private land developers and general contractors.
Mr. Blansit is a graduate of the prestigious "Brinker School of Surveying and Mapping" and has been involved in the Land Surveying industry for many years with experience in residential, municipal and commercial land surveying. He uses leading-edge technology to perform and prepare: FEMA elevation certificates, boundary and ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, topographic maps, construction staking for water mains, sanitary and storm sewers, grading and roadways, and both residential and commercial developments.
We are excited to have Mike as a member of our staff and know that his experience and dedication to the Surveying industry will be a valuable asset to The Sterling Company.

Rodney L. Arnold, P.E., Director of Engineering, has received LEED-AP certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.

Mr. Arnold is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Missouri and has over 13 years of civil engineering and project management experience. He is a 1996 graduate of the University of Evansville with a Bachelor's Degrees in Civil Engineering and has served as the Director of Engineering of The Sterling Company since 2005.
